A View

beyond this patch of land, there's always a sense of reprieve and nostalgia. Burleigh Heads off the coast of well, Gold Coast - is not just a beach, it is my altar where I would once, far away during a time of antiquity, rolled up my board from the lawn, and drive out. Here is my first foray or an attempt to taste mother nature's embrace in its most mellow and natural form, a wave. A swell or whatever.

Why? you can blame the flamboyant Michael Peterson, a personified waterman and pioneer of the 70s, you can accuse the stacks of magazines in my room, displaying Sunny Garcia, graciously doing powerful cutbacks. Or most likely, that little emptiness of not knowing what to do. So yeah, I got sucked into this past time or more vaguely some would say, a sport. And Burleigh Heads is where it all started, an innocence - lost forever.

THIS Quiver

will be tossed, carried about and hopefully I pray to God, would never snap in two. If it does, there goes my savings. Touted as the Mini Fish by Webber himself, I figure it's a hybrid between an old school fish and a performance board. 6'0 in length, a width only a bear could hug with rails thick enough, it may just be the ingredient to catch some fun swells but it depends though, I might catch em' upside down. IF Malaysia's East Coast pumps up during the monsoon season that is. And I'll be damned. This post was thought after weeks earlier, the swells did rip me apart.

And so...

This is somewhat a quiet first post for a blog. Nothingness prevails at this point of time, except for the need to rant and express with a cup of coffee. About my wants in Life, my hopes in the Future, my loss in the Past, the Miscellaneous things I dig, the Waves that tingle my senses and most of all, my love for travel in the Indo. A personal perspective of what makes me a Human in my own insignificant way. And so...this blog is that reclusive Cove I built with my bare thoughts, to be shared. With anyone, basically.
